WA Health is reporting a total of 6,829 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 43,586 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 234 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 8 in ICU.
Today’s report sadly includes four historical deaths dating back to 29 March, including a woman in her 40s, a man in his 70s and a man and a woman in their 80s.

Of the 6,829 cases, 2,984 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 3,845 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total 8,873 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 387,111 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
